HUGE comp. problem WTF

so today i am doing some stuff on my little lappy and all of a sudden i lose power and i have not been able to turn it back on : (

i did recently install some pirated software and my comp would shut down and display a msg saying that hardware or software was not properly installed. i was in the middle of uninstalling one of the newly installed programs when i lost power....so i am wondering if i am being punished for using pirated software....

if your computer is not even bringing up the bios.... then its something else.... seem's coincidental but even if it were a pirated version of windows it would let you open up the windows screen but wouldn't allow you to proceed until you have a valid product key.

I'm not sure the pirated software did anything... it seems like the power supply on your pc is fried.

However, its fixable. I'm guessing you're pc runs with 300-350w power supply, you can usually buy them for around $50. Get a professional to install it. :)

^ she says she has a laptop....... so it could be her ac adapter, relay for both motherboard and battery or the motherboard itself....

wake & bake and computers don't go hand in hand.

- Check the AC pin and see if it's loose (broken)
- Check if your notebook has a hardware reset button (hold that down for 30 seconds)
- Try booting it without the AC, then without the battery/vice versa.
- When you go to turn it on check for lights on the AC adapter/notebook
- If your confident with the hardware of your notebook, reseat the RAM and try again

i pretty much did everything yah all mentioned, plus prayed a whole a lot and tried to expell the evil spirits from the machine and still nothing...guess i'll have to hand it over to the pros.
