I'm a Shipper/Receiver now!

Went for my interview at Andrew Sheret this morning at 10AM. Everything went smoothly and I left feeling very confident! I was expecting to get a call from them for a second interview but they called and said that I can start on Monday if I wish!

I'm totally pumped for this job! Finally something new and interesting, and $12/hr isn't too bad either:)

Congrats. I did shipping/recieving for quite awhile at a huge cross-dock. Soon the mere sight of a PO Number or Item Number will cause you to fly into a purple rage. :D

I dunno about that. When I was doing it it was quite common to handle in excess of 6,000 cartons per day. When the entire shipment was loaded by retarded monkeys and the orders are mixed up more thoroughly than a tasty gumbo then you will truly be one of Us. ;)

I guess it really depends on the company though. The one I worked for was solely a shipping/recieving company, recieving a shitload of cans of Walmart/Canadian Tire freight each day and shipping the individul orders out to stores. If you're only handling one company's freight then I guess it might not be so shitty.

I was a shipper/receiver at aldo, my boss was a giant bitch, i had way to much work on my plate, made a shitty job terrible lol. I hope you have a good boss nad goodluck man :D
