You are the type of person that is afraid of Pitbulls.

The only reason any animal will attack is if they smeel fear.

People like you help perpetuate these stereotypes because you are misinformed (Which is not your fault) and afraid.

If a loose Pitbull were to come up to you on the street, you would get scared putting of the scent of fear, which makes the dog wonder why you are afraid which leads them to believe you are going to attack them.

I don't know if you know this.

The only reason you will be attacked by a Pitbull is if it smells fear.

This is why I am so pissed about the media instilling fear into the masses about this one particular breed.

People see a lose G. Shepherd they aren't scared, maybe a Rotty, but ESPECIALLY a Pitbull.

same dog tried to attack me again a few months after, and i stood my ground and yelled in it's face. it pulled up a foot short of it's run, and didn't attack.

An old buddy of mine owns a rotty. Kita (kee-ta) is the biggest baby of a dog I have ever met in my entire life. I swear, she thinks she's lapdog and still a puppy. :) At first I was a bit scared/leary but she makes it hard for you to not love her.
Little vicious yappy dogs freak me out though. Y'know the kind that chase you around trying to nip yer ankles or your nose if you get too close. lol
