Simpsons gets funnier every season.
how the hell do they do it??? It's been more than a decade and it juss keeps on getting funnier and funnier. Did you see the one last night where Homer got his thumb cut off and Marge stole that Ferrari from McBain??? Oh shizzz, gold, baby GOLD!!!!

simpsons is my fav show in the whole world!! the new episodes r super funny.... but when i watch the super old reruns... they're soo funny too.. its like 'aww memories...' hehhe
one of my fav scenes is when homer is an astronaut and he opened that bag of chips and starting chompin on the chips with the music... haha that is just puree art lol :031:

i think the simpsons have been thrown into the mainstream trash bin over the past 4 years...
back in the day, the simpsons was your average beatnik sitcom. most of you probably don't pick up on that cuz you're probably too young to even know what a beatnik is... i guess somewhere along the lines of RATINGS, matt groening had to make a compromise, and give the youth of today what they want to see... oh well, it's still funny shit... but the original concept isn't there anymore, which is what i fell in love with, some 10 years ago... that's my bit.

eh...sum of them r still good. like ya last nights wus pretty funny but they keep re-using all their ideas! i mean seriously how many times r they gunna get a free trip somewhere in the world?? millhouse keeps it alive though! man he is the funniest! he's such a nerd! hehe oh well i'll watch it till its completely off air.

Simpsons
I think Simpsons has gone down hill for the last few years. I think it was at it's prime about 5 years ago.... every Sunday the episodes were hilarious. Nowadays, even though the images are still the same.... the show's gone from homourous to pointless. I've sat through a few episodes without even smilin'. The ones from a few years back are still the best.
I think Ralph is the funniest character.... (well, excpet Homer) How can you not laugh with Ralph is around.... hahaha *Attempts to roll banana down the bus* "Go Banana!!" And yea.... Milhouse is funny too....

The Simpsons is still gold to me. :031: My fave character has GOT to be Homer. Other than that, Ralph and Millhouse are definitely awesome. Bart's a cutie too...I love watching the woman who does his voice in person. It's a total trip.

but i agree it has gone downhill. now its all made so itd better fit the audiences appeal. before it was just about a disfuctional middle income american family now if you watch. you can pick up lotsa drug referances, aka. homer licking toads/frogs. meeehhhh... the story is taking tonsa twists and turns to make up for lack of good story line. aka. comic store guy getting arrested and doing ednas. skinner's mommy. oh well... its still good. Ralph is da shit yo! i used his pickup line to get bob. HAHAHA. BEEEEEE MINEEEE. ;] hahah. and drew pics of bees all over. i'm sucha dork.

I guess it sorta lost it's spark like Married with children....
This season wasn't that funny at all...lotta shameless gueststars *cough Nsync* Last episode with the thumb...and the comic shop guy/skinner's mom were the best episodes tho... LOL... the rest kinda ...sucked.

Yea.... simpsons still kicks ass but not as much as before
Have you guys tried watchin' Family Guy? The show gets cancelled so often... but the few times I caught it... it was hilarious! That show can actually match the new episodes of Simpsons... but not the older ones. Ha, I have a friend that reminds me of Ralph... cracks me up. Ralph is so funny.... here's a few more lines that I remember. *goes into the porno section* "everybody's huggin'!" *eats wild fruit* "It taste like.... burnin'!" and now my pick up line..... "So....... do you like..... stuff?" =) hahaha And another thing funny is Mr. Skinner and his mom's relationship. :024:

Bob, I have got to disagree with you. Simpsons have gotten better and better every year. Ever since the focus of the show has changed form Bart to Homer, the show has gone nothing but up.
BTW, what's wrong with being bumped into the mainstream?? Mainstream is cool as long as it does not change the show to appease the crowd. "Keepin' it real," describes the above in every respect. It has kept the same witty humour that it began with and athough the animation has changed somewhat, I think it has changed for the better. I thought the earlier episodes were not as good because the plotline dealt with the same thing every Sunday: Bart vs. Homer. Bart would do something bad and Homer would grab him and choke him. That was funny at first, but you got to admit that it got boring. Groening was stuck between a rock and a hard place. Change the show's focus(not it's main ideals) or not have a show at all. Which would you pick?? That was when Homer became the star of the show. It was a smooth, slow transition and eased people into the change. Some didn't even notice. This has made the whole show funnier and the funniest episodes are the newest. One example is the time when Homer thought Bart was gay. Bart - Dad, why did you bring me to a gay steel mill? Homer - I don't know...... I DON"T KNOOOOOOW!!!! Ha ha, gold baby, GOLD!!! BTW, Futurama is getting damn funny too. -Dwight:063:

Yeah, simpsons id definitley one of the funniest shows on TV. But the newer episodes just aren't he same as the older ones. with the older ones, i'd be laughing the whole time, but its jsut kinda...hehe...and some of the jokes are kinda cheesy. If ony it'd go back to the brilliance of the last few seasons!! but its gotta be hard to keep coming up with fresh ideas all the time cuz simpsons has covered jsut about eveything. I thin kalmost everything in life can be related back to simpsons....just think of how many times peopel say "hehe, thast reminds of that simpsons episode!", or how odten it can be quoted. I swear everything can be related back to the simpsons. the game should be 6 degrees of the simpsons! it'd be hella easy.
now Family Guy was a fuckin funny show!!! does anyone remember this one?? Fuck, it'd be laughin my ass off for a half hour straight! i don't know how it could get cancelled!! fuckin hilarious! one of my favs FO SHO! but suprisingly, i don't know many people who watch it (or watched it)....its a mystery to me

I've seen 5-8 episodes of Family Guy (check above post).... that shit's hilarious... it can match Simpsons
I don't know why they cancel it either? Probably just people didn't give it a chance... cuz if they did... they'd be laughin' throughout the whole show. Have you seen the episode.. I don't know why... but the dad goes up on stage on like black history month infront of all these black guys and says "It's all ur fault, all of society's problems.... it's all cuz of you guys!" He meant people in general... not realizin' only black people were there.... hahaha he got his ass chased by the biggest mob I think Family Guy just mite come back for the 3rd time next season... let's hope so.
