Need To Donate Printer

I need to donate an old HP Laserjet 8000N printer. Anyone know of any organizations that can take and pick up (from an office downtown) donations like this? I've checked out the schoolboard sites but can't find much. I want to get rid of it by the end of the week.

you also might wanna check out govolunteer.ca and see if any of the organizations could benefit from a really cool donation of a printer, perhaps even something on the other end of the spectrum like the Arts Alliance, or something in that realm?

it's the companies and we don't need/want it anymore, since we've upgraded to bigger and better. the office is on granville st downtown. if you have the means to pick it up, it's yours, but like i mentioned, it's pretty big.

i work for a company that sells and services printers, and printer cartridges, i have an associate who wants it and will pick it up

Its hard to donate to any of the schools because there on strike. There are programs out there that collect computers etc from companies and donate them to schools or for students who need them at home. However I dont know any off hand :(

Otherwise I sugest some non profit/volenteer organizations like the Variety Club, Big brothers/Big sisters, Salvation Army, Sally Ann, or maybe a community centre etc...
Places that those gladly except donations all the time and if they cant find a place that needs it im sure their own office could make great use of a well equipt printer like that. And I believe all of those organization do pick ups :)
