actually, the guy did get let in, i was helping him in the bathroom. but really theres not much you can do ecxept for flush it with milk to sooth the burning. what was the prelude to him getting maced?
ps - clay DID get arrested for writing on a bum, but frank payed the cops 5 bucks to let him go

you know....what happends outside of a club has nothing to do with the club inside and the night...i always here ppl say they arent going to the met cause of what happends outside..dude its east van.....it happends...friday night,sat night,....even weekdays...
im sorry about the shock to some of you who arent use to it....it is harsh but a reality... i know who was involved and he is a close friend...the bouncer has a club that he has to ensure the safty of.....he cant have the fumes off someone who was sprying running into a club and touching ppl to get thru a crowd and having anything bad happen...they called the ambulance right away and it was all dealt with...even the bouncer was sprayed in the face directly and was in alot of pain to..but because he has a job to do..he did what was nessacery to ensure our safty inside.... with that all said...marty sooo proud of you awsome job babe....and jason props to anoth night of good beats bringing some breaks to the table good idea....some variety never hurts....and kim im sorry the night wasnt that great for you ....ur actual birthday is on wed so we have alot of time to make up for it:).....and andrew yeah buddy i miss you being in all this drama that happends.....but we will alaways update ur ass...hahhahaha....xoxoxoox to everyone who made it a great time and over looked the bullsh*t out side

went pretty good. I thought that there would be only a dozen people at most for such an early set. Nope.. pretty packed :)
I honestly though I did a shitty job mixing but after talking to people who know dj'ing and mixing.. They all told me that other than a few fuckups.. it was solid mixing with an excellent track selection plus good progression (if there's one thing a trance dj knows.. its how to progress a set!) ended with some banging stuff like pendulum/prodigy, zinc, more pendulum :P and finished with extremely rad trancey dnb. All in all i was pretty happy about my set.. really got everyone on the dancefloor. The only shitty thing is that i want to continue doing it but unless i get a cheap laptop with a lot of HD space and finalscratch/serato live. I cant buy any more tunes because after next week. Im officially out of a job. and i'd rather become a prostitute or drop my pants for money than sell my turntables :)

weird, last night the bouncer was over at our place ranting on bout how he had too flush mace off some dudes face in the bathroom
don't blame the met, come on saturday you'll probably have fun. it's like the arch mixed with celebrities tuesday.
