Quake 4!

Holy Shit... this game is soo fucking gooood!
its not like Doom 3...were its run back and forth between missions
This story has soo many twists and the various missions are soo non-repetative, makes you want to see whats happening next...
its like a really good movie, book, conversation... but im game form... oh man!

fuck the single player quake has always been a multiplayer game
if ur that pumped for the single player man the multi is guna be insane!!!!

i was a huge q3er, and my clan is now movin on 2 q4 but my comp just cannot handle this game :( so depressing!!!!

i just played quake4 for the past 3 hours straight

it's kind of like doom3's since it's based on the engine anyway

the single player is straight up shoot-em-up style, on some levels where you can drive vehicles.

the multiplayer is just like a clone version of quake3 but with better graphics

I expected it to be good but it wasn't and i really liked quake1/2 single player the most

The F.E.A.R. demo fucking kicked ass and I've heard nothing but good things from people that I know who have played through the full version. The multiplayer blows though.

Quake 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, so I'm hoping Q4 is a proper successor... torrent is 30% done :O :O :O

F.E.A.R. is great, i'd say i'm about half way through. It's impressive. For the record I didn't get it legally, just incase some are stupid.

source just looks good, original counter-strike is GROSELY superior...

the aim/gun mechanics of souce suck.

i hate how they make all new game nub friendly to appease a broader range of gamers

^ Unfortunately he's right, CS:S netcode is fucked up unless you change some console variables... the hitboxes actually precede the model itself, especially in high-lag situations. If you play on really fast servers it isn't much of a problem though.

nah not even...ive played CS since 1.0 and source is cool.....nothing really seems different except for better graphics and few other improvements.....i've played 1.6 a couple times after playing source and it really isnt better

I've always been a fan of the UnReal Series. Used to play CTF extensively when UT first came out. I might have to check Q4 though... but Counterstrike Source sounds awfully good.

i had a real RTS itch, so i went and bought (yea, bought) AoE 3. Brings back memories of AoE back in high school :)!

However, i'll be...sourcing FEAR shortly.
