Clubs for couples? :)

Moving downtown this Nov. I'm looking for places downtown that aren't complete meat markets (I know there's a ton downtown). Just places you can go and have a good time and not have to worry about anything, ya know? I've heard of a few places. But ugh, i've been hearing about a few places that are def not places I'd want to go (eg. plaza club, voda, skybar, etc)

Not pubs, because most pubs aren't like that. I'm talking night clubs, where there's a good vibe? Oh and preferably not top40, I hear enough of that on the radio at work.

i would have to say celebrities would be a great place for you to go to. Its now scummy or anything. great music, soo much fun. and not a meat market if your straight :). ive met tonnes of great people their, and if your just going to dance its great for just that. you should def check it out.

Personally I can't stand hiphop/R&B/top40 clubs anymore........

So as far as dance clubs go, I like the following:

Red Room on Saturdays

Lotus Sound lounge is good Friday or Saturday.

Blue at Aqua :Havn't checked out blue's new location, but it's saturdays were pretty good before.
