i myself believe that its very very important to respect the sacrifices that people have made for the freedom that we enjoy
its important to respect them but not only for how they have affected our lives
but more so on what they were fighting for as an individual
what they believed was important enough to risk and give their lives for

anyways....

since im in air cadets... every year im part of the ceremonies... in fact my band plays all the music for the coquitlam ceremonies every year...
being in air cadets we are totally involve with all the legion things...
doing the poppy drive... going to Battle of Britain parade .. which is like a rememberance day for the air force every year in september...

it really means something when i see people supporting the veterans ... becuz i kno how much they love seeing the respect...

so.. that being said...
hope everyone takes the time 2morrow/2day to remember.... and visit ur local rememberance day parade and pay ur respects with the veterans..

the veterans do deserve the respect
but hopefully after they are all gone
people will respect and truly remember what they have done to make us more aware
and that we do not forget and allow history to repeat itself

if any of you had the decency to ACTUALLY drive down to the cenotaph it would be nice if you laid a 'poppy' on the cenotaph to remember, something i'll do once everyone clears out.
