Tarantula!

I got a pet tarantula for my birthday!
I know no body cares but I'm still stoked about it. I've wanted one for a while now
She's a Pink toe (which are my favourite). Don't know how old but definitely not a baby.

the thing is soo creepy, but still kinda cute. It's funny cuz I actually have a harder time picking up the crickets to feed her then I do picking her up.

i haven't bought crickets in years, but i think they were 12 cents a piece? or maybe it was a dozen for two bucks.

i'm not sure if it's quick or slow. they sink their fangs into the crickets body and then drain the little bugger of blood.

watching a snake eat a mouse is pretty cool. i'm sure you've seen it on the discovery channel. i used to have a bufo marinus toad and it'd eat pinky mice so fast! it's tongue would dart out and wrap around the baby and then pull it into its mouth. it was so quick you'd only see a blur.

I tried to see if there were any video clips from limewire of a snake eating a mouse and all I got was porn. :(
