Open Deck Events?

It's saturday afternoon, I have some new records, and kind of feel like jamming them in a loungey spot somewhere and sippin on rum n cokes.

is there any place in vancouver that would welcome me to do that? ;)

in the evening there's open decks night at anza club on saturdays. Last week I caught clockwork and domnahl throw down some wicked tunes at the end of the night, but from what I understand it's pretty open if you show up earlier.

what kind of music usually?

i kind of went deaf when i flew into Vancouver -- the pressure, a cold, blah. It's clearing up slowly but surely --- i can't wait to be able to play out again. :)

I went there, they were playing breaks. breaks and house seem pretty staple in this city, with a mild appreciation for drum and bass. I think the former two are mainly what's played there.
