Its called entertainment for a reason most us know its fake. Personally I don't watch it anymore or really have since the 90's because its just as you said a soap opera.

Back in the 80's and early 90's though wrestling was awesome to watch. The LITTLE skits and characters for each wrestler were awesome.

They need a jake the snake back in wrestling, but i guess they don't need it cause everyone is hooked with what they haev now.
