Trick Question

This is a question asked on an Online Interview for the Vancouver Library, its a trick question, ill post the answer same time tommorow.

monday...2053 people, tuesday...34354 people, wednesday...53464, thursday...52524 people and friday 567 people entered the library.

one day, the counter counted 2x its real number. in which there is a difference of 57 people.

how many people entered the gate in that week?

I understood it, but many people didnt. give it a shot.

the answer is, Add all the numbers togather, and minus the 57.

it could be tricky because people can get hung up by day that the counter read wrong. but the difference is already told so all you do is add it all up and minus 57.
