Going to my son's hockey tournament!

I'm so excited for this it's ridiculous!

I'm heading up to Merritt this weekend to watch my kiddo in his very first, full fledged hockey tourney. 6 games over two days... and more if they advance out of the round robin. He's only 8 so they won't be 60 min games I don't think but who cares!

Nothing is cooler than seeing your little guy in action! I know he's pretty good as both a scorer and a grinder already. Oh yeah.... proud Daddy in the house!

LOL....i remember when i was in Novice a fight broke out in the stands between my friends dad and another dad on the other team...over a "bad call" by the ref
This was in novice level.....

Hockey parents are easily the most dedicated out of any parent.

I'd suggest getting your rest now, early mornings and bi-weekly trips to sechelt and squamish are in your future.

Aww wait till you see him on the ice! My lil bro plays hockey and hes 10... They look so small with all of their gear on.. but man little ones can skate so fast :)

I hate my parents for not letting my join any sports or anything other than "what smart kids do" when I was young. When my nephew's old enough, I'm going to make sure my sister puts him in hockey camp or something hehehe.

I get to be hockey dad, soccer dad, snowboard dad.... and videogame dad (he's my favourite)
