No, I totally feel that and I am the same way. The early part of the year is something I do try to make a positive experience though, with Lent in early Feb and going through to the end of March- the fasting, giving up something that you could do without, it's a good time of year to give myself that kind of clarity. But new years resolutions never ever seem to stick for the people that make them for more than a few days/weeks. |

Im going to give the sober non-drinking thing another try... and hope that I stick with it longer than last time... I want 2006 to be a sober year. Get my ass to the gym at least 2-3 times a week along with a few aa meet... And hang out with old/new friends more often.

here's an idea!
ok people!
all these plans to better yourself... dont we do that and make up new ones all the time!! we have to be better at this, we have to be better at that... god lets hate ourselves a bit more! and like saving money, loosing weight, drinking less.... ya you will for January, but lets be serious... WHY NOT...... Pick something you have always wanted to do and do it next year! you will have to save money to do it prob and it will make you happy and feel some satisfaction. Like travel to a certain place or go sky diving, AND ACTUALLY DO IT! your resolutions of save money - well save for the event you wanna do drink less - save the money from a few less beers each night loose wieght - you will from the few less beers each night. lol its a good plan. BE HAPPY! dont stress yourself more by lame ass resolutions |
