We really suck in O.T and shootouts. Yes we beat Ottawa in a shootout but other than that we lost to Edmonton in O.T, we lost to Edmonton in a shootout with no canuck scoring in the shootout.

We should have tried richard park for the shootout and not the same player every shootout

hmm in shootouts Naslund and Bertuzzi suck we should put in people will good wrist shots like park. Naslund seems hesistant to shoot in a shootout.

I think morrison would be a better fit.

He wasn't too bad. Second goal was crap but he played pretty decent, even for the shoot out. Garon was rock solid and shit kicked us in the third and so.
Too much dicking around behind the net with the puck tonight. Too many times a man was left unattended in front of our goals, we got lucky they didn't score more.

^ to add our powerplay sucked, mainly because we pass it around too much.

We need so simplify more, and get shots and traffic. The coaches always say that but when it actual comes time to do it, it never happens.

and again speed seems to kill us when were defending.

What choppy play... neither team really seemed to get much flow going for most of the game. You would think that it wouldnt be to hard for proffesional players to atleast put the shot on net in a shootout... I mean a goal isnt necessarily expected, but shit atleast make the goalie work a bit.

Happens alot remember the first shootout toronto vs ottawa. All toronto shooter missed the next by like a foot at least.

Don't forget the ice is real choppy at the end even with the little zamboni wipe.

but ya canucks rushed in on garon too fast, and by the time they tried to deke it was too late.

U dont' have to rush in a shootout. Look at frolov for instance

no way man , the canucks were turtles walzing into the goalie

you gotta fuckin give'r! speed throws off goalies. well that's what i learned from my years of hockey anyway. if you go slow into a goalie and deak, its very easy for him to back up comfortably and follow you.. goalie will read you like a book. but hey, it's easy to criticize.. beatin a pro goalie is fuckin hard
