Deciding wheather I want to take up a job that could become a potential career. It will involve police training and on-going education/training. Invole sacraficing the small things and sometimes working 16 hour shifts, days/nights in stressful and dangerous circumstances. On-going take down techniques and constent physical training. Also dealing with psych. patients, I'd be wearing a bullet proof vest, hehehe. The plus side to all this is great pay, career and I could become a member of the VPD :)

Hell it sure beats construction, no more dead end job for me. Also no more fun, but whatever I had my fun now its time to make sacrafices for a better and rewarding future.

Yeah I am going to do it, I can put all my training to test and see how I stuck up. Its alot of take down techniques, so I think my Kick Boxing skills will help me out alot. This might be a fun and exciting job.

I used to volunteer for the Delta Police, so this topic interests me.

Do you have to do the POPAT test and polygraph (I would assume you do).

Have you done VPD ride-a-longs as well?

Yeah I got to do the POPAT Test amongst others, lots of physical training too. Seems very interesting and exciting. I never been on ride-a-longs yet, I want to go on some soon.

I will pass the physical test's in flying colors, set some new course records ;) lol. I can't wait so excited, I been waiting for a physical/mental challange for the longest time. So sick of stupid dead end jobs. Damn I could never, ever imagine myself being a construction worker when I'm in like my late 20's.

I want to have a decent career and be set by the time I hit 30, which is in 7 years,9 days, 1 hour and 10 mins.

ya smoke pot I do believe that is a no no with the VPD are you really willing to give it up or are you just having stoned thoughts right now.

I'm willing to give up weed for the job. Just waiting for them to call back now. Hopefully i get a answer soon, or I'm gonna call and find out tomorrow and see what's going on.
