the lyrics one is amazing... i stopped madly downloading widgets.. for some weird reason it made my comp mess up and dashboard takes forever to fully load up. like really..do i need that flight tracker widget when i havent been on a plane for yearssss.

Originally a company called konfabulator made widgets for the mac, apple ripped them off and put it into their OS. Konfabulator then made widgets for the PC and was bought out by yahoo.

I've got a bunch of useless ones haha. Spirograph, a Screen Cap widget, etc. Even games like Pac Man and Solitaire. I also downloaded this one that tells me how much RAM my widgets are using.

man, i find widgets completely useless myself. Only thing I really use is the weather forcast one. Took me a couple months to realize that it was defaulting to Vancouver, Washington for a while before i figured out how to change it...

PS, in the new windows they're putting in "gadgets" as well. woo
