by the end of the season Auld's skills will have defintely improved... forget cloutier.. he is done now.. Auld is our new goalie . and like a few of you have already said the nux need a good back up goalie soon... Auld can be playing so many games back to back, He is gonna get tired as hell

Auld's number aren't that bad either a very respectable .910 save % and a 2.77 Goals Against. Though that stat isn't as good as the .910%.

23 wins is good for seventh on the list of goalie wins, but he should be sixth cause brodeur has played 4 or 5 more games.

Nonis should get on signing a defencemen and a backup goalie before the march trading deadline.

Cause I don't care if Cloutier is ready to go come the playoff's why would you throw cloutier in when Auld is playing so well. We have already given Auld the chance to prove himself in the regular season as a starter he is doin pretty good for a so called backup.

Next he should be allowed to play in the playoff's.

I've always preferred save percentage to goals against anyways. GAA can just mean your team is hanging you out to dry.

Well of course he should. Put aside the fact that their regular season numbers are comperable, the main reason we need to get Auld into the playoffs is that in terms of his ability to stay calm and not get rattled, he is the opposite of all the things that caused Dan Cloutier to completely collapse in the playoffs.

Just hope that A) He really has got it down, how to be a top level starter and B) They find SOMEONE who can back him up at some point in the regular season, so they can rest him.

The Canucks are still first in the northwest, and we play edmonton 3 more times. Well eventually win just like we did to calgary. Maybe not in back to back games but eventually. Especially when were healthy with cooke and park back and naslund gets some rest for his hip.

im really losin faith in bert. he barely puts any effort in and constantly takes retarded penalties away from the play. the look on his face makes me think he barely even wants to play.

Basically put the top line is not producing offensively and defensively they have been the worst canuck line. They take penalties too often, they don't backcheck often enough and they definetly lose their checks easily in their zone.

Sedin line = Combined +38
Naslund line = Combined -8

overall throughout the season they have good point production, but it means jack shit if they are just gunna be lazy backchecking in their own zone, giving up more goals than they score. for the amount of space bert takes up in the Cap, I'd much rather have a star goalie. I really like the sedin line, because they put so much more effort in and they dominate the puck in the offensive zone.. when nassy or bert loses/misplay the puck, they just skate a lil circle and cruise back.

I can understand about the wear and tear from travelling but dude its not like they played calgary on friday and flew to toronto to play a game on saturday.

They played calgary in alberta than edmonton AGAIN in alberta.

We just get tired against edmonton than slackoff the canucks with alot of effort and heart would be dynamic, but if your top guys don't play like your top guys..... The sedin line can only do so much.

Besides defensively nazzy and especially bert are really off this year
