Being given Demigod status at work

It's neat when you find out the only people with more access than you are people that work under Microsoft's payroll.

Probably the main thing that I'm jazzed is that I got payed today to listen to Primus and Offspring on my nano while I play around with the tools to figure out how they work.

you got paid to listen to primus? I've lost a job for putting Primus on instead of Top 40 crap! They've been my fave since I was 14. Hire me. That is all.

RMH. I knew someone here that worked for Stream previously, and Stream recruited me for about a 50% wage raise. But I dun wanna do telemarketing, I'm happy in tech support (tech support being actual experience in the tech industry, telemarketing being not) and I'd rather it be said on my resume that I stuck with the same country (edit: company... that's like freud meets stephenson) for a year or two than went wage-hunting. Company Loyalty looks good on the resume, and it looks good to upper management...

We'll see what happens here. Basically they're training me up to become the systems expert on-site, which would also look wicked awesome on the resume. Currently the game is patience.

hm, stream wanted to pay you MORE? how much you make there? and ya the telemarketing part is gay, but that is fairly new - when I worked there they didnt have it, so it was just tech support, which was a lot better... though still gay, cuz streams gay.. lol, anyways, thats cool that you are not on the phones tho, if that had happened to me, i probably wouldnt've left.
