i'm walkin home today from work listening to the KMFDM (BITCHES!), I see a hobo pull up on his bike and walk over to sears in pac center.. He runs in and gets a few pairs of shoes... Im watching this so i bust in the door and yell to him "HOW ARE YOU GOING TO BE PAYING FOR THOSE SIR!?", he drops and runs off while shouting hobo profanities at me.

You don't know that he was doing crack, its winter. If he is stealing shoes, I can almost gaurentee that he was looking to survive, maybe you should think before you talk.Can you even imagine how many homless people need shoes right now? its really sad.. You're making it sound as if its all okay he was trying to steal some shoes, because you know he was a homeless man.

Looking to survive would be collecting pop cans on the street for a few days and returning them to collect the bottle deposit and then going to value village and purchasing a pair of shoes.

Regardless stealing is stealing whether or not you have a home or not.
He did the right thing.
