So me and my girlfriend have been thinking of somewhere to go when she finishes her classes in april. We have been thinking of going to Vegas for about a week so i was wondering if any fnkers have been and if so any places u reccomend, i.e. hotels, clubs. Thanks.

Don't go to "the strip." The Disney brand strip now is a vacuous waste of space. Find the original strip, the one you see in Fear & Loathing In Las Vegas. That's where the classic casinos are.

FREMONT Street...the original Vegas....u can take the bus there from the strip....Super cool...its about 5 blks long...and the top is a huge imax type screen all the way down and every half hour they do a crazy visual show to music...bring your videocamera if u have one....(wish i did)
As for clubs if you go to the big hotels and cozy up to a bartender they will most likely give you free passes to the clubs in thier hotels...otherwise its a huge cover and or lineup....studio 54 is in the MGM Grand hotel, its a cool club....check out www.vegas.com for any upcoming djs and whatnot....

ICE is totally overrated. Tangerine club overlooks the Strip. Voodoo Lounge on the top of Rio Rio is excellent for the scenic view of Vegas. Water show at the Bellagio, Treasure Island show and the Venetian are three hotels you don't want to miss.

If you're thinking about shopping, head to the Vegas outlet mall. Don't let the locals fool you to the premium outlet shopping mall!!

If you can get into a show (ie. Blue Man Group), GO! There are local shows and entertainment provided at each hotel.

Don't forget that if you're gambling, drinks are served to you free, but tip your waitress well as she will hurry back for your next round.

I can't remember names of anything. lol. my whole trip 2 years ago was a blur.. anyways, I remember having fun at Ghost Club, and is Voodoo the one with the glass dance floor on the balcony? if so that club kicks ass also.

Old Vegas owns th 'strip' as mentioned above as well.
