Officially out of a playoff spot.....
This is shit... as of today, with that shitty 7-3 loss to Detroit, the Canucks have fallen to 9th place. This team needs to pull their shit together pronto.... if the Canucks don't make the playoffs heads will definitely roll in the off season.

anyone who thinks van has any chance at the cup can think again.
NOBODY has ever won a cup without bomb tending. Alex even though hes not bad is not good enough to lead them to the cup period. Not to mention there playing like shit anyways.

well they're not that far off to the 5th spot. It's not over yet.
but I'm not liking the line experiementing... the team chemistry is not really there. The plays are so disorganized and it seems like the players are not used to each other in certain lines.

however, i find it highly doubtful that we'll make it past the first round.

I'm with Omega.... I think we'll make the playoffs but I have no faith that we'll get past the first round. I really want to be proven wrong though...
Either way, times may be tough but I'm not jumping off the wagon.... GO CANUCKS GO!

I'm just gonna say when we had the cup run in 94/95 we were in the 7th or 8th spot in our conference.
but I can't see Auld getting as hot as Mclean got, and Mclean may not have been the best but he had the ability to turn it on when it counted. Hence why we won more than one playoff series *cough* Cloutier but i have faith. We do need to get healthy though A.S.A.P monsterous games against edmonton. Don't forget L.A is only a point ahead as well

if the canucks make the playoffs, they will almost certainly lose in the first round. at this point if you know someone who wants to bet on the canucks, send him my way. if they don't make the playoffs, no one's going to be too surprised. march has been a complete write off, and we're lucky we even got that win against columbus. so pick one scenario, but the result will be the same. the 'core' is not going to be the same next year. it freaking can't. and if it is by training camp, i'll personally start up a fire nonis petition/group/cell. *oh i guess in the perfect world we'd make it and put in a few rounds or 4 in the playoffs. but has this team shown you once this season that it can do it for more then 1 period? how about over a 7 game series?

COL Leads LA 2-0 2nd period and just in ... ANAHEIM 2 DALLAS 1 Final. canucks in 9th .. 2 pts back of 8th place anahiem ... DUCKS got 2 games in hand. better hope they win at least 9-10 of the final 13 now.

Sakic 4 Pts canucks season depends on these next 3 vs Edmonton .. how cruicial .. they need to win at least 2 of 3 ..-- then they have a huge game vs Anahiem later too. Im just happy as shit my avs are winning .. 2 straight losses for us and we`re in Vancouvers shoes jus like that. gonna get interesting from here on

You know what if it comes down to it I would rather have Colorado win the Northwest than the Flames. Fuck I can't stand their cocky fans, every since last year hence I never cheered for them in the cup run.
At least Colorado winning the Northwest will shut them up a little.
