I got my labret done a few weeks back at one of victoria's best parlors. Anyways, the ball itself sunk into my lip (turned out it got rejected). It got so bad the ball was IN my lip, I couldn't eat, talk, and it ached. Which was so odd because I have 9 other piercings that were abnormally fast in healing. So I ended up in the hospital one morning, with 5 needles in my lip to freeze it and the doctor took it out. I ended up on antibiotics to fight infection and tylenol 3's to help the throbbing.
Which did you get a barbell or a fish hook? I had a fish hook and I honestly think that was why it happened!?

yeah my labret is healing fine. it's a barbell...not a fish tail. yeah my lips used to get really dry and chapped whne i had my lip ring...one of the many reasons i took it out.
