(N) to bad chain restaurants
-Bon's off broadway for a good true greasy experience, 3 dollar breakfast, saucy waitresses and bonus if you drink coffee because a guy who doesn't even work there dressed up as a security guard refills your coffee. Downside is definitely the wait time you'll incur if you ever go there on a weekend. -Cafe Barney (granville @ 14th ish) for its awesome bennys -Paul's Place on Granville @ 6th for its amazing omelttes and even better service. A little on the pricey side for breakkie but worth it, their food is so good! Downside is they close @ 2 or 3 -Slickity Jim's chat + chew on main @ broadway Both the reef on 25th @ main and Havana on Commercial Dr. serve up good brunches if you get there on time on weekends |

-At Bon's, you can get garlic in your fried potatoes. $3 breakfast just got even better. And the Sheriff is just the best: "Heyyyy there, BUDDY!"
-I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the Sunshine diner is no more. -Sapodilla (Broadway @ Oak): The. Best. Pancakes. Ever. -De Dutch is good... but I just don't understand how they can get away with charging so much. The Wooden Shoe on Cambie is far better. -Stella's on the Drive has mmm mmm good brunches... Breakfast food = greatness. |
