the best strapless bra EVER?

ladies,

we've all had this problem, you go out and get a nice strapless for summery outfits or dresses and it turns out to just never work, it either slips, or it cuts off your boobs at the halfway point or just doesn't do the enhancing it should.


so really, has anyone found the best strapless EVER? please let me (and my friend who needs one!) know

It may not be the best strapless EVER, but I certainly found a good one at La Senza last summer. It had plastic along the inside edge so that it would help stick to your skin the same way that stay up thigh high stockings do. (that stuff holds up pretty well even through dancing, and sweating)

I don't know if they'll have them back this summer or not though.

I personally find that going up-top commando works best for me. Strapless bras seem to cut off circulation in the breastial region, and straps just look plain silly on me.

How about bra cups? I heard they work really well. I think I'm gonna invest in some as all the other previous strapless attempts have been horrible (i.e. :n: to the LaSenza bra)

I hear those adhesive cups suck. a couple friends of mine have em and while they say it's supposed to last about 100 wears, my friends have told me it's much less than that. they've also had problems going to clubs, dancing, sweating and having the cups actually fall off. so personally, I wouldn't invest in them.

for me, depending on the top or dress, I generally just prefer to go braless.

Acutally i can't buy bras from la senza cuz my boobs dont fit in them either they come out :kimmie: i bought my bras from this azn store in metro called "My Heart Lingere" and they are like 80 bucks a bra and even then i still pop out a bit...i hope im not growing...

if i am what's the next size DDD or E? <---- stupid question i know but just to confirm it

i'll go check to see what they recommended in the strapless category

edit: they recommend the new Fashion Form No Slip Strapless bra
"the bra features a silicon adhesive coating on the inside of the seamless cups to make sure they don't move; just apply the bra to clean skin. it's washable, and once air-dried, the adhesive bounces back."

it's pretty cheap, too.

I dont wear strapless bra's if I have a shirt that need's one I usually go with out. It's such a bitch to find a good strapless.

I was down in the states and Victoria's secret had some good ones. But that doesn't help you up here. However, some of those stores downtown might have what you are looking for, though you might have to pay a pretty penny... maybe worth more than the dress you have, however, if you use it eough it's probably worth your time. I try to avoid buying shirts or dresses that are strapless, or I'd buy a bikini that doesn't have straps and wear it underneath, though I don't know how big you're breasts are...

I was going to Suggest Victoria Secret too! I bought one there last year to wear with a dress and I love it! all there bras are great. Its definately worth a trip down there!

maybe the reason for the poppage is because its not wide enough around?Go get a pro fitting done at a good lingerie store.Just because you paid $80 for a bra in metro dont mean its quality.But yeah,the next size up would be ddd,by the sounds of it i doubt youre a ddd.Im a ddd and I cant even get 1 tit in a la senza bra.So it sounds like you just need to go up in width maybe 1-2 sizes.And popping out has alot to do with the kind of bra youre wearing.If you have dd tits you need atleast a 3 prong bra in the back because it gives you more support,also look for wider straps as well.If its a pushup I can understand the popping,but that still coincides with how many prongs are in the back and how thick the straps are and also the width around.

thanks! :) yea i have 4 or 5 prongs on my bra and the straps are thick...they do have underwire in them and the lady at the store said the proper way is to take the fat from the sides and push them to the front...so i duno but another question is where do i go and get them fitted? like will they have to make me a new bra or would they be able to make adjustments to an old one as ghetto as that sounds....how much do u think it would cost to get a custom made bra?

oh and also where do you get ur sports bras from? i need to get one but i need to find one that will fit my boobs

Victoria's Secret...best one Ive found so far. I didnt have to pull it up constantly either. However in the end I came to the conclusion of many..less is more..fuck the bra.
