need help on getting your drivers licence back

Hello,

another thread just reminded me of all this.

So I lost my licence almost a year ago for drinking and driving, busted in a road block. Wasen't speeding, no one got hurt, busted cuz I had my N.
Got a $600 fine and lost my licence for a year.

Time is almost up, I get it back in a few weeks.

Wondering what I have to do....

I have to pay the drinking and driving fine and a few parking tickets and seat belt ticket off... (god, that is like $1000!)

then apply for a new licence? Do I have to take the driving test again?
how much are these? $100 ish???

best to go in person, I am guessing... Should I write a letter to sound all goodie goodie and shit?

goto the DMV, pay the fines, and then they will take your picture again and send you the license in the mail.

this reminds me of when i was graveyard dispatcher at a tow company who worked with the WR police.
i had some funny drunks calling me from the drunk tank wanting directions to pick up their car that was going to be impounded for the next 30 days.
those bills are huge.
or the call from a really nice and sober sounding dude who politely asked where he could pick up the car his soon-to-be ex girlfriend had taken on a drunken joyride with her friends and got busted on. he had to pay the bill.

haha. the owner of the car had to pay the towing fine. and had his licence taken for the night.

haha it was so not worth it, well kinda I guess. the owner of the car would have passed out driving home, plus it has saved me alot of money not having a car the past year and really made me grow up.
But I want my licence back bad, need to go to Shambahla this year! and my boyfriends dad is giving me a van, so it is worth the wait.
Not having id for a while is what really pissed me off

so go to the DMV, easy enough. THANKS! better then going to north van to the court house

the DMV should have record of what fines need to be paid on their computer, it's rather uncomplicated.

when you get your license, get a second one too. So when you loose your license the next time, you always have one!

ya for sure. jail is super gay and not ment for me. good thing I am strong minded, most people I know would have FREAKED in there!
I was like whatever, night off work and free food! hahaha j/k

I got my bc id now, so if i lose my licence again, which I wont! I have a back up :) or id for my sister haaha
