this is sooo fucking weird.

he's been missing since yesterday afternoon. got held up at gunpoint while he was in his car with his gf in front of his house. they left her alone, but took him with them.

he's a super smart guy. lives in a ridiculously rich, beautiful area. and this happened in broad daylight, right in front of his fucking house.

it's incredibly surreal and downright scary to think that this happened to someone I know...

from the article I read in the paper, they seem to be thinking that they took him for ransom or perhaps out of revenge.

who really knows... I just hope he comes back ok...

oh man you knew him? They obviously have a ransom or something in store for him. They managed to block the road off as he drove up to it? They must of had surveillance on him and had a very planned out operation.

whoa...

I got up pretty early today and checked the paper expecting to read that he's been found safe and everything.... but still nothing right now.

I was never really friends with him or anything but I've known graham since grade 2. this is the kind of situation you see in movies, but you never expect it happening to someone you actually know......

I feel absolutely terrible for his gf (she went to my highschool too). I honestly don't know what I'd do if I was in that situation...

You always have to wonder in these kinds of situations, what else may be lurking below the surface.
I'm not trying to be offensive, but rather the devils advocate...
With the attitude people have these days, who knows who this kid could have lipped off, what he could have done to piss someone off, what debts he could be in...
Or even so, what kind of debts and troubles his PARENTS are in that would cause such action to be taken against their children.

And I still find it kind of sickening how things like these have to hit close to home before they are considered "scary" and "surreal"
People go missing every day, for a whole bunch of fucked up reasons, every report of it makes me feel sick to my stomach.

However, I do hope he is found safe and with as little repercussions as possible.

although you cant deny the scare factor of it happenin so close to home, this does happen everywhere. what about the three brothers found shot to death a month after their kidnapping in venezuela? that saddens me more.

i hope he is found. but this really shouldnt be too shocking. our country is beuatiful and wonderful, and a hell of alot safer then most places, but we cant deny that horrible awful things still happen here.

apparently they were the owner of some charter bus that was helping katrina victims get away and the bus caught on fire and killed 23 elderly people. they are also under invegtigation for another faulty charter bus here in canada.

could any number of people who either lost someone or lost money because of an accident or so on and so forth

no, not at all! i was simply stating possible motives behind the kidnapping!

I was in by no means suggesting that everyone should be afraid to leave the comfort of their own homes each day, but more so that we need to recognize there ARE twisted people in the world who wouldn't think twice about a carrying out a crime like this.
