Screw you all!!! I owe $1600 this year. That's what I get for working for a company that doesn't take taxes off throughout the year and leaves it up to you to file. Oh well, it was sweet getting all of those tax-free paychecks last year.

You'd think so but I don't have a vehicle, so I can't write off gas, expenses, etc... I don't have a home office, so I can't write off most business expenses. The guy who does my taxes always finds as many loop holes and ways to lessen the amount, but in this case there was almost nothing i could write off. Believe me, I tried everything.

$3200 but only because I asked both of my employers to take an extra $50 off EACH paycheque. I had quite the scare last year..thinking I owed $2800 because I wasnt taxed enough..

Anyways..no $3200 in my pocket though..it goes straight to my student loans =/

i filed my 2004 taxes in feb and then my 2005 in march

i got $600 from 2004, $300 from 2005 and $300 in back-pay for gst checks :)

RRSPs my Friend... RRSPs... My Friend at work is also a Financial Consultant. He explained to me the intricacies of compound interest with investments. Holy shit. Worth checking into for sure!
