Question about poster glue!

Anyone know what that special glue is that u put up posters with is called? or where i can get some? or is there even special poster glue? maybe im just dreaming this up, cause ive never actually seen it, just on tv...

once i taped/glued/pinned up all my rave flyers of all the raves i went to......

then i took it down, cause we were moving, it was not pretty.

ya i dont think i would wanna use that paint on glue for my bedroom hahaha. im pretty sure i wouldnt get my damage deposit back. but ya ive got a few flyers up in the room just with tacks, gives it a lil flavor.

im actually talking about like mass postering on posts and stuff...u know that adhesive u paint over the poster which ,makes it pretty much impossible to take off! ya that stuff hahaha, i just have no clue what it is or where to get it.

Wheat paste: It wont make you popular with property owners and city cleaners, but it does the trick better than anything else that is non-toxic. Theres a million recipes on the internet, most people who do a lot of postering have their own versions. Mine is slightly soupy due to adding additional tepid water and a vigorous mix before blasting off.

Try to stay away from political posters.

You usualy buy it in a box of powder then you make the mix... 'spooge' is great if you don't mind walking around with a bucket of it...

the secret is to make the mix so you can carry it in a spray bottle and have it spray for long periods of time w/o plugging up the nozzle...

be prepared to upset pedestrians on the sidewalk... shit gets messy.

With the amount of wheat paste we go through the mix is not a viable option. Plus, homemade wheat pastE, oversized super old paintbrushes and a bucket, assures that extra ghetto feel.
