greyhound adoption and italian greyhound breeders

i've always wanted to adopt a greyhound, now my weekend roomie in van wants me to get a companion for her dog.

can anyone recommend a local adoption agency?

i found one place in seattle who has a beautiful 6yr old female named bohemian leer but i'm not sure about the border crossing

and this summer i want to buy an italian greyhound pup to travel with me and my boy.
same thing, can anyone recommend a local breeder?

As for getting an animal across the border, all they need is there shots have to be updated and they must have there raibies shot. That goes for taking it across to and from the states.

Im not sure how it would work when buying a dog, you would need papers i assume, and to pay duty on the dog.
I would ask The agency if you plan to go there what it would take to bring it back here
