I got new cages... enough to keep boys ang girls seporate without putting more then 3 to a tank.

I didn't want to give up 7's babies.

for what purpose do you own 7 rats, i can see having one or two , but why 7?

she has 9 babies.

I donno... I like having a maze of rats.. they are happier in packs of 3s and 4s and I dont have to sell them back to the pet store.. and worry about them getting sold as feeders

oh man, I used to have pet mice! They went crazy! They got knocked up and freaked out cuz they were having babies. popped them out and ATE THEM ALL! SERIOUS! it was sick!
I guess they didnt thinkthe cage was big enough of that their was enough food! They ate them the day they were born! they didnt even give me a chance to expand the cage!
Ew it was sick. They flicked one baby out of the cage and it died cuz it was cold, I had to flush it down the toliet! LOL

Next day I put the mice in a shoe box and took them back to the store. One got loose in my car, uuuugh. But I foundhim then he bit me the bugger!
Through him in the box, went into the mall to the pet store, put them on the counter "these are the worst pets EVER" and left.
The pet store didnt take pets back, lol but they took those ones, haah I was pissed off!
