How much is it to purchase your cable modem through them?

no, I have the modem. I've had shaw innanet for like 5 years.

I want to upgrade my cable and bundle packages are cheaper based on modem purchase, but their website doesn't specify how much it is to purchase the thing.

Ah.. ok. The best bet is probably to call them. I never find the answers to what I'm looking for on their site.

I was in the same situation about 2 years ago & wanted to buy my Shaw cable modem, they said the price was $60 but I knew of someone who got theirs for $30 and I got them to do $30.

Apparently the new cable modems are smaller and are Docsys or some type of new technology and might be able to run faster but the old ones (Tarayon) are OK.

Later they replaced the modem for free with same model when I was having line problems. My original modem was probably OK.

I'm paying about $44 including tax, with no cable TV channels.

i have the xtreme package as well and just rent.

just give them a call and ask if you aren't getting answers from their website.
