what u guys get/got-planned for the big day?

so i'm ripping my moms favourite doris day album for her. figure i'll wrap up the ablum up for her, but put cd's in sleeves instead of records :D suprise suprise.
theres some pretty ketchy tunes on here to, haha.. or maybe the oldies are starting to get to me.

I called my mom at work and told her I loved her and all that jazz. I got a "Why the fuck are you calling me at work? Don't you know how fucking busy this day is for us?"

I flew home to calgary without my mom knowing. Then rang the doorbell and left flowers on the front door step and snuck around the back of the house, walked in all casual and asked he if she figured out where the flowers came from yet. All while she was talking to Dave (my bro) who said that I was in downtown vancouver getting ready to start work the next day.

The look of shock and happyness was well worth it.

I called my mom and wished her a happy mother's day and reminded her of how much she means to me and how grateful I am for her. Sooo cheese, but she loved it. :)
When I go visit later this month I'm bringer her a lil stuffed bear that smells like roses, a couple chocolates, flowers and maybe I'll burn her a CD too.
