BUNGEE JUMPING in Whistler
OMFG
i went bungee jumping up at whistler 2 days ago... i jumped twice from the bridge .CRAZIEST thing ever!!! i still cant believe i did this.. i have the tape that my friend recorded of me falling. shit the bridge was so high up and there was a river underneath it and trees all on the sides. it was so beautiful. i swear it was also the best day to do it with the weather and all. i so thought of every posible thing that could go wrong and almost backed out at the last minute but im so glad i went through with it . It was nuts!!! by far the best and most insane experiance of my entire life! the next thing on my list is skydiving!!! My motto is you only live life once so you have to try everythimng at least once...lol as the saying goes if someone tells you to jump off a bridge would you? my answer if i have a harness and a bungee cord yes! definatly!!!!! who else on here has done any crazy extreme sports?

Wow that is so awsome I am Planning a trip up there with about 12 people!!!!
just a few questions? how long did it last? how much was a second jump? and how long did it take to before you could jump? (the attachment of the cord????)

It's good that you didn't back out. I had a chance to do it with my work for free, but I backed out and decided to do the yoga class instead. Which was boring. I wish I had just sucked it up and did it.

just 3 weeks ago, I jumped off a plane 14000 feet in the air! it was amazing and scary as hell. and you know what? people have told me that bungee jumping is actually scarier than skydiving! which is why I look forward to doing this very much so. however, I'm a little partial to doing it while I'm on a far away vacation. I'm hoping to be able to bungee jump somewhere in new zealand (the next trip I'm hoping to plan!).

well it is just before the village you see a sign that says bungee jumping then you drive down a long gravel path till you see the bridge.
it was $100 for the first jump then $45 for the second and you get a free shirt with it. they harness you up and tell you how to clip the rope once you stop bouncin then you jump it took me for them to count to 5 about 3 times before i accually did it the first time. i swear the high you get is better then an orgasm !!! lol then the second jump i did it before they finished counting i was excited!! to tell you the truth the second time was far scarier then the first , maybe because i knew what to expect!!! you free fall for about maybe 10 seconds im not to sure the whole thing before they bring you back up was maybe a couple minutes. i wasnt realy counting though so im not to sure. i also heard that bungee is worse then skydiving but it is the beat adreniline rush you will ever get... for me anyway i heard that it is either the worst or best experiance ever depending on the person. any more questions>??? im happy to share what i know with you all.
