Is breastfeeding offensive?

Are the avatars on these womens LJ accounts, offensive? Should they be deemed not work safe?

I think it is appalling that this woman would be asked to take this down, as I don't see anything offensive. I see worst avatars on FNK of T&A in a sexual manner.

I dont see anything about the picture very offensive at all personally. I think its funny with what it says on it.
All though i personally will never feed in public with out a blanket over top but thats just because i dont feel comfortable with my boob at full view in public.
But i mean for the most part peoples mothers breast fed them I dont see anything wrong with the picture.

The only thing I found really offensive was being told that if I don't like watching someone breastfeed in public, I should put a blanket over my head.

How about I put a blanket over you and your kid, instead? Then I've solved the problem for everyone who didn't want see your tit.

But really, none of those pictures bothered me. Just that little slogan. It's so Jerry Springer.. "I'm a new mom and I do what I like, what-eva!"
