future shop or ipod?

so my ipod is so dead.

i bought it in aug last year, so i have 2 options.

1. return it to ipod and let them deal with it

or

2. wait till aug, bring it to future shop and let them deal with it


advice?

why do u need to wait till aug. to bring it to FS?

i bought a warranty but ipod covers the first year, future shop covers after 1 year

hmmm.....i would wait till aug. then u can just go in there and they will litterally give u a new one.

ipod could take forever

well see thats the downfall of future shop, they will send it away for 4-8 weeks and try and fix it, if they cant then i'll get a new one

i just got a new phone with itunes(which i am going to im u my new #), and i gave my ipod shuffle that stoped recharging to DAVE!!

since he lost his video ipod

that boy should never ever own anything thats worth more than 20 bucks, cause he loses EVERYTHING!

Give it to Mac. My x kept getting free iPods because she some how wrecked them over and over. It might take a month or 2 but what can you do.

if you bought the extended warranty with futureshop you dont need to wait until after the first year.

the whole point of the futureshop warranty is so that YOU DONT have to wait, they will test it, if its dead and wasnt your fault they will give you a brand new on the spot, and they go deal with mac for you.

The new ones yes. The old warranties they had were repair warranties, not exchange. Which means they would only replace it if they couldn't fix it.

Krista, I say just send it to Apple. Most people I know that have get a new one in less than a month.

Apple Canada has quietly cut prices of the fifth-generation iPod. The 30GB model is now priced at CAD$349 (was $379), while the 60GB model now sells for $459 (was $499). The just-announced special edition U2 iPod, based on the fifth-generation design, sells for $379. The price drop is an apparent response to changes in international currency exchange rates. iPod nano and iPod shuffle pricing remain unchanged.
