and kicking ass at it as soon as you get into the booth is a great feeling. I walked in expecting to play honky tonk crunk and top 40 junk, but it was mostly an older crowd chilling out and pounding back whiskey. All night I played classic rock gems with the odd country song thrown in the mix just to please the odd redneck. I was surprised. Totally different crowd than I expected. Who would have thought George Thorogood and Led Zeppelin would have gotten cheers and drinks sent up to the DJ?

I even managed to slip in some Rush and Floyd. What a great gig.
