I don't know what kind of equipment you've got. . . but you'd definately need some heavy dude hardware to cut out stone like that and in perfect dimensions.

^ I don't see why not.

now all you'd have to find a awkward looking table tall enough to customize.

it IS completely possible. . . you'd just need to get your hands on a pressure cutter. Those things aren't cheap.

all you need is the right table (out of wood)

and then borrow a neighbor's skill saw etc and precisely do the cut outs.. I can't imagine it being very hard. maybe just cut a block right out , then nail in a plywood type bottom piece with a hole drilled for the cords

could make it pretty clean.

or just bring it to a highschool ask to use their shit after class .. generally have wicked tools.

dude.... fuck stone, that'd be pretty damned easy to make outta concrete... you'd just have to build a wooden frame to your measurements... dunno what you'd have to use for legs tho... it'd be fucking heavy

^ I think that would defeat the purpose, these tables are awesome not only in design but in materials used.

the wood is fcuken slick and the rounding is done near perfectly.

I'm fairly sure that they are covered in wood paneled veneer. It would be fairly simple to make a think squared wood table, cut out the slots, place another layer of plywood beneath and set up a jig to round the edges. Then it's the magic of veneer. It's the stone ones I'm more impressed with.

Definitely a lot of love put into each one though.

I've always wanted to make a suspended setup with chains and whatnot... one day.

stone/concrete would be way more stable than would, you wouldn't really have to worry about somebody bumping into the decks.... the deck & stand falling through your apartment floor would be a new worry tho
