the only reason i have the light behind is when i have the room lights turned off... it causes less strain on the eyes. my little dinky 17' hiding in the corner... heh...

I usually have my main light blasting, I dont like being on the computer in low light much at all. the ora behind your monitor was too keen to let pass, also I have been trying to make use of this Ikea shitlight for far too long.

ya, i got the idea from Ikea, they sell long flourescent bulbs to put behind your monitor... looks really cool. Dude, it's a Dell! :p http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...1&sku=320-4335

didn't think it was worth it blowing twice as much on an apple cinema display. it's an S-PVA panel.
