I want to try this place out (possibly tomorrow night).
ANyone been there? Would I need to make reservations on a friday? I've heard pretty good things so far.

I have with a bunch of family.

We had the Kaiseki set dinner.

Edit: It was horrible especially considering how much it cost. Worst expensive japanese food I've had in my life. But I'm willing to consider the possibility that the chef that night just sucked or something. A home-cooked meal from mom could have tasted way better and be far cheaper to make.

My relatives from japan were also there that night and I think everyone was too polite (or too japanese) to admit that it was really bad, especially since my uncle was picking up the tab.

Go to Sushi House on Kingsway. Cheap, great quality fish and SO FUCKING GOOD.
