quitting smoking..

all you need to quit smoking is a little motivation! which is what i got now. :) so i plan on quitting, or i have already started the process.

I quit for a week or two, smoked tonight.

I just can't give it up. I got a pack today, ultra lights... different from the regular.
The Dr's even said if I didin't quit I could die! haha. You'd think it would be enough for me to quit, but it's really not. I have no will power, or maybe I just like smoking too much :(

i on the other hand love smoking. but in cases of moderation. like.....i could go days on end without a cigarette. and not feel a thing. no craving nothing.

i tend to smoke only when : working, for obvious reasons.
: drinking....ha again, obvious
:traveling....therse nothing like sharing a smoke with other backpakcers wilst your all waiting for a bus or plane or something....or just drunk again.

ok...so other then those above mentioned moments i feel no need to smoke.

i think im lucky.

i love smoking, it gives me a sort of relief, but i promised someone i would stop, and there are consequences if i dont stop, namely a hard kick in the stomach by one certain person. I used to be able to go days and even at one point a month without smoking, but now im jsut craaving them all the time. and sometimes one at a time dosetn cut it. so its time i quit for good.

Yah i just quit a few days ago... Its not too hard for me, i just quit when i stopped enjoying smoking.

I did it but i had every reason in the world to do so.
It wasnt hard for some reason i didnt even craze a cigarette until like a week ago and i quit in November. Hanging out with my dad to much i think lol

every time I think about quitting, I wonder what I'd do with all of that fucking spare time. Average it out to five minutes a smoke, a pack per day.. that's two hours and five more minutes a day free, and I'm already bored half the day anyways. Not to mention I'm surrounded by smokers at work. . the smoking room is right beside my booth and it's always packed compared to the rest of the bar.

for me, it just happened. started a monday without smokes and that was that.

i feel good in saying, suck it smoking. i smoke pot everyday, have gotten nicely buzzed and haven't broken down once. i did have a weird dream where i took a drag, but if that's as bad as it gets, i'm laughing.

in fact i shall laugh at how stupid i've been these past 7-8 years. haha you dumbass. can't wait to make my reward purchase. will post pics etc in chronicals when i do.

Good that you're confident, just don't underestimate it and think somewhere down the line that you can get away with "just one smoke".

im the same way. i can go days without smoking but there are just certain times where i feel i have to light up.

nabs just try and keep your mind occupied with something else. as hard as it is, just try and forget about smoking, keep it off your mind. try not to socialize with people who smoke and avoid it by all means. its not an easy thing to do that's for sure but I HAVE FAITTTTTTH NABS!!!
