Cheap place to drink on Wednesday night

It's my buddy's birthday on Wednesday night and we're looking for somewhere to drink that we've never been to. We're looking for a pub with no cover and cheap beer. This may sound like every pub but we always end up going to the same 5 places.

Suggestions?

There is always the Cambie... or NY on Denman @ barcley. Great food, cheap ass drinks, nice atmosphere; more pub and restaurant style.
Two Parrots @ Davie and Granville is good too.

Ok, these suggestions are pretty good but you're missing one part of the OP. My friends are cheap, unbelievably cheap, so no cover is an essential to them.

I actually really wanna check out The Plaza and Cyber on Wednesdays but for this Wednesday it needs to be no cover.

Lemme know some good pubs and bars.

Oh yeah, while Panchos may actually fit the bill, the location is a draw back Vancouver/North Shore/Burnaby seems to be the boundries. Sorry for the confusion...
