Hello DJ's! Where do you guys get your dairy crates for record storage?


I need it for a little project I'm working on (A ghetto homemade airconditioner)

hey! haha yea im working on Revision 2 now. I got one up and running and ang said its doing a decent job, but i'd like it kick out a bit more cold air so i revised my design.

my suggestion: go to a few near by gas stations or convenience stores and hang out around the back if you find some grab a couple and RUN!

that's how I got mine... but that was ages ago :p

most crates like that I found are a bit too small to fit them in nicely - you can get some solid ones from staples if yer into payin for some, 5.99 for interlocking ones - which will fit quite nicely - but otherwise, hanging around safeway can net you some of the above mentioned.

^^ Yeah Staples is prolly the only place you can buy them... grocery stores wont give them away cuz they recycle them.
