he has 98 points in 300 games played.

not terrible. not great. decent acquisition considering 4th round draft pick ain't shit!

we also got marc chouinard. 74 pts in 278 games played. both journeyman type players, but I think marc will bring some presence to naslund. (assuming he plays with him? I sure wouldn't want morrison+nassy+small winger!)

Me neither. One thing chouinard is good for is faceoff presence. Something morisson has nothign at this point in his career or overall career. At least Hendrik was in the 50% + range.

A #1 center and he can't get over 50% winning percentage for faceoff's.

We need a good faceoff winning centermen with good hands who can score. Morisson better not be a bust like he was last season.

They should get rid of the whale.

and just use their vintage jerseys for home and away games.

I can't stand the Orca. Go back to the skate or stick with the vintage

theyve been cursed since they moved to GM place and changed jerseys. Heard that GM place has bad feng shui because the georgia viaduct is channelling all energy out of gm place....

I thought their old red yellow white jerseys were the best, id like to see the orca go too...

scott gomez or someone else who destroys their arbitration hearing.

but realisitically they'll be too expensive for us. even trading morrison+whatever for gomez leaves us with damn near nothing. but who knows, nhl's been crazy this summer.

*it's funny, i was actually hoping for a chouinard and pyatt type signings because i figured it'd help give us the depth we need. i just didn't think we'd still need of two top six forwards.
