where do u watch the fireworks?

anyone have an opinion on spanish banks? or.. jericho beach? is it just as crowded as english bay??

i heard 1.4 million people go downtown to see this shit

so finding a non crowded spot will be hard.

i kinda like the crowds, they make it a real festival atmosphere! (well, if you're walking, driving anywhere after the 'works is terrible)

ideally every year i'd do this:
one night at english bay
one night on a friend's roof-top deck in the west end
one night on a friend's boat
one night with my family at vanier park, after the bard on the beach "Bard-B-Que"

i've already done the english bay, will be doing the bard on saturday, missed the roof party cuz i was working, and i'm not sure if it's warm enough today to go on the boat...

anyone know if you can see anything from the highest point of Queen E park? i have a picnic date there and it'd be nice to just go up to the observatory and see 'em from there (if such a thing is possible)

no where this year but usually i watch them rite on the beach at english bay. I've also watched them neat the planetarium once.

Sometimes right infront of the fireworks on the beach

Other times on a penthouse on Harwood (close to the Burrard & Pacific) that my dad manages. Beautiful view from there.
