Okay... I thought Vancouver got hot

So I'm in Boston all week for work and I have never been in hotter and more humid weather.

Get this -- the temperature today is supposed to be 101 (for us Canadians that's 38.3 degrees Celsius) BUT... the humidity is supposed to be 100%+! -- How the shit can you have over 100% humidity?

So every TV station is warning the temperature is 101 however because of the humidity, what it feels like to our bodies/us is 115!!! That's 46.1 degrees Celsius. When you walk outside, it is literally like walking in to a wet sauna fully clothed. It fucking sucks.

How do people living on the East coast live in this shit?!?

Add in the fact of manual Labour outdoors and surrounded by Concrete and it's easily 50+ on the Ramp.

when i got home in late august i was realived at how cold it was!!!....and it was like 30 degrees !!

You guys really have no idea. Im visiting family in the middle east (No, no, not Lebanon -- Kuwait) I , who was once a pleasant light shade of brown have become to look like a struck match. I was in Dubai the other week too, The humidity is fucking unbelievable. Nobody ever goto Dubai in the summer. Ever.

Yeah man... didn't you know one of the reasons people like the west coast so much is because our weather is so mild?

Not only do we not have ridiculously hot summers but we also don't have ridiculously cold winters.

In Winnipeg there's like 6 months of summer followed by 2 weeks of fall, then 6 months of winter and 2 weeks of spring...

I'm part of what's called a global staffing team at a gaming company called Vivendi Games and we find/recruit Art/Creative professionals, Software Engineers, Producers/Project Managers, etc. We have 6 studios - 3 in California (that's why I'm always in LA and other surrounding areas), 1 in Vancouver and 2 in Europe. We're talking about 2 different things here Rhia:

1.) Heat
2.) Humidity

It's one thing to be in 40+ degree weather... it's another thing to be in that 40 degree weather along with 100%+ humidity. BIG difference..
