it's more likely they would get thrown away from the bed. Remember the magnets are set up to REPEL the bed against the force of gravity. I think the hype this bed would generate would ultimatly end up being anti-climactic. People would be all "zOMG! that guy has a floating bed!" But then they'd get there and the novelty would wear off in like 4 min. Especially since you'd have to be hung like an elf to be able to rationalize spending $1.54 Million on a bed that probably isn't anymore comfortable than a decent hotel bed.

It would be as comfortable as the mattress on top of it.

The magnets in the bed and the floor would be both polarized the same to repel against EACH OTHER, not the force of gravity. Which means any piercing that might have been polarized to the opposite magnetic pole would be attracted to the closest magnet.
