Moving my ass to vancouver.

Not going to lie, pretty excited. Im hoping to be moving in for october. So that means i have about a month and a half to find myself a job downtown.

Any suggestions? Or hookups?

Finding work isnt a problem, but i want to see whats out there and find somthing ill be happy with should i need to stick it out untill i start school full time.

Im trying to avoid ending up driving a forklift all day, or working for minimum wage. So hopfully i can get somthing that will work.

thats rough.. nothing is worse than having brand new gear that you can't use. It is such a tease.

and for that matter what did you do with your old board? Im trying to convince everyone to give me their old one, so that i can have an around town Jibbing board. =)

well this is my first board :p so im sorry but i dont have an old one. But i definatly want to go up this season and board cuz and i know this sounds stupid but ive only been once but i know i love it..just learning how to is the key hehe

Looks like i bit the bullet and am just getting a construction gig. Its essentially what im doing now but i figure i dont want weird shifts (that has more weight with me than you know) and why risk not making as much as possible at first untill i am settled and know what my costs of living are going to be. It just removes a variable. so i figure its a good option untill i get settled in.

It's alright.. love my co-workers, but I don't really think that it's the right kinda job for me. I've only been there a little over a month now.
