WTF? My battery serial number matches the numbers provided, but the site keeps telling me that its either invalid or not covered, as well as the same for the computer itself, of which the site doesnt provide serial numbers required??

well if there tech support is 24/7 I suggest that you can EARLY..... To give you an example when it hit dell... supposively they had 4-5 hour wait times
and this recall is a little bit bigger..

actually dell had a recall of 4.1 million batteries, Apple has only recalled 1.8 million. It sounds like Sony will be flipping the bill for all of them. Ouch
